For more than 35 years, I worked in corporate America, much of that time serving in leadership roles. Looking back now, I can clearly see God was using that season to prepare me for something bigger than I ever imagined.
Over time, the Lord began opening doors for me to serve through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) as an Area Representative, where I had the opportunity to build relationships with athletes, coaches, and schools throughout Cherokee and Pickens County. Through those experiences, I saw firsthand how powerful sports ministry can be and how God can use coaches, teammates, and mentors to impact lives far beyond the field or gym.
Today, I serve as Chaplain at Cherokee High School and lead a nonprofit chaplain ministry focused on supporting athletes, coaches, businesses, churches, organizations, and families throughout our community. Whether it’s showing up during difficult seasons, encouraging someone who feels alone, praying with others, or simply being present, my heart is to meet people where they are and point them toward Christ.
My mission is simple…to engage, equip, and encourage people in their walk with Jesus and help them grow in a real, lifelong relationship with Him. This isn’t just something I do. It’s the calling God has placed on my life.
