Providence Ministries exists to walk alongside athletes, coaches, students, businesses, churches, and families by providing spiritual encouragement, mentorship, chaplain support, and character-based leadership rooted in faith.
Our heart is simple…to meet people where they are, build genuine relationships, and point them toward Christ through everyday moments both on and off the field.
Whether it’s encouraging a student athlete, supporting a coach through a difficult season, praying with a business owner, partnering with local churches, or serving families in the community, we believe ministry happens far beyond the walls of a church building.
We’re committed to showing up, serving others well, and helping people grow in faith, character, purpose, and leadership in every area of life.
Launching Providence Ministries has been the result of a lifelong journey of faith, leadership, service, and God’s guidance every step of the way.
Some of my earliest memories are sitting and reading the Bible with my Mamaw Whitaker. I was blessed with a wonderful childhood rooted in faith, family, and the truth of God’s Word. Over the years, that foundation continued to grow into a deeper personal relationship with Christ and a stronger desire to share His love and truth with others.
Through sports, coaching, business leadership, and ministry opportunities, God continued to show me what servant leadership truly looks like. Each season of life helped shape my heart, strengthen my faith, and prepare me for the calling He placed on my life.
Today, my greatest passion is simple…sharing the Gospel, encouraging others, and helping people begin or grow in a real, personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
